Julie Andrews began her professional life as a classical pianist, completing a Bachelor of Music at Auckland University before studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Her special interest in health and natural medicine grew at this time. After returning to New Zealand, and when both her children were at school, she completed Diplomas in both Naturopathy and Homeopathy in 1989. This was followed by a two year Advanced Diploma in Homeopathy.
She has since been in private practice and held positions in the natural health field as College Dean, Academic Manager and core tutor.
In 2016, after completing a Master’s Degree in Integrated Healthcare through the University of Central Lancashire in the UK, she accepted the position of Naturopathy Programme Leader at Wellpark College of Natural Medicine.
